Since this blog has been exploring many sexual taboos in-depth, I figured it might be very useful to have a taboo check list where readers quickly can look up what each major religion has to say about the taboo in question. The table below shows most of the world’s main religions with a few of the significant denominations and sects thrown in for good measure. I know not every religion is here, but I have the main ones covered. If you think I got a religion’s taboo incorrectly annotated, please let me know. I made up this list with the best info I can find. But this list is certainly not cast in stone. If you think I made a mistake and point me in right direction, please let know.

Taboo wise, the eastern religions tend to be quite accepting of Female Ejaculation. These religions also have a lot of ancient literature written on the topic. However, with the exception of Islam, the monotheistic religions say practically nothing at all about Female Ejaculation. This makes it problematic to determine what they actually believe about Female Ejaculation. Are they for it or against it? Though one thing is is clear, Female Ejaculation is certainly not talked about or encouraged openly.

If you came here looking for a juicy story about how the Catholic church condemns squirting, I will have to disappoints you. What I do want to talk about is the suggestion by some that the Catholic Church confirms the existance of said Female Ejaculation. In Deborah Sundhal’s book: Female Ejaculation and the G-spot, she had suggested that the Catholic Church confirmed the existence of female ejaculation. In her reading of the June 30, 1952 issue of the Acta Apostolicae Sedis, a publication of the Holy Office she came across the following statement:

In their work of the care of souls and the direction of the consciences [priests] should never, either spontaneously or in reply to a question, presume so to speak of the amplexux reservatus as if there were no objection to it from the standpoint of Christian law.

Following this statement Sundhal concluded the following:

Obviously, the Greco-roman idea of a female seed being part of the conception and procreation survived into medieval times. Whereupon it was declared a sin by the Roman Catholic Church for a woman to not ejaculate!

I have read the same document and it is not clear to me how she could have made such a connection. I really enjoy reading Ms. Sundhal’s work, I think it is groundbreaking book in the field of Female Ejaculation. However, I have to disagree with her assessment of the Catholic position on Female Ejaculation. In fact, I do not think the Catholic church has a position on Female Ejaculation at all.

I think Ms. Sundhal read too much into what the Acta Apostolicae Sedis actually said. There are no clear references to female ejaculation in the document. Only male ejaculation is referenced and it clearly suggests in the context of the amplexux reservatus that it is a sin for a man not to ejaculate.

If you recall from my post on the Liquor Vitae; Hippocrates, Galen and Aristotle all wrote about Female Ejaculation. Since the Catholic Church was the inheritor of classical Greco-roman medical knowledge, it is a good bet they also knew about Female Ejaculation. However, this knowledge is referenced nowhere in the Acta Apostolicae Sedis. The June 30, 1952 issue of this document elaborates in much detail the Catholic Church’s restricted sexual acts. There is not really a whole lot that is permitted, but no clear mention of female ejaculation is given.

Given the relatively recent publication of this document: June 30, 1952, I would suggest knowledge and practice of Female Ejaculation was unknown by the general population and a such it was no longer an issue for the Catholic Church to comment on. If there is no Female Ejaculation happening among the parishioners then why talk about it? As much as I like to have corroborating proof about the existance of Female Ejaculation, we will not find it here!

China has a 2,500 year old scientific and philosophical tradition called Taoism. The Taoist belief system generally focuses on the relationship between humanity and the cosmos with the objective of creating harmony with the universe. Contained within Taoist beliefs is a sophisticated set of instructions on how to bring harmony to sex and sexual relationships.

Taoist sexology treats sex as a vital component of any successful relationship within moderate boundaries. However, for our purposes we are interested in what Taoism teaches about female ejaculation. Included in the Taoist sexology texts are ample descriptions of female ejaculation and its importance .

Taoist sexology celebrated all facets of a woman’s sexuality including female ejaculation. They explained female ejaculation in conjunction with the concepts of the three gates and the three sacred waters. The stimulation of any of the three gates can produce ejaculate in varying quantities (from small amounts to overflowing). The Taoist never questioned the existence of female ejaculation; they just attempted to explain how it tied into the natural order of things. Taoist sexology believes that each one of the three sacred waters correspond to an ever higher level of sexual stimulation and arousal in woman. Furthermore, they regarded the three waters as being essential for the vitality of both women and men.

Taoist texts explain that the first water is created when a woman’s first gate is stimulated. In the West we know the first gate as the clitoris. When the clitoris is stimulated, the first water (ejaculate) is excreted by the para-urethra ducts and the skenes gland. Taoist sexology also teaches that creation of the first water is necessary to lubricate the vagina before a woman can begin intercourse.

Stimulation of the second gate is done through the g-spot on the upper wall of the vagina, which releases her second water. This is the most common method of female ejaculation that we in the West understand.

The third water is connected to the stimulation of the woman’s third gate which is the area in front of her cervix. Taoist believe that stimulation around and in front of the cervix will cause a very deep sensation of a uterine orgasm. This uterine orgasm can sometime be following by the release of her third water.

Taoist sexology considers ejaculate released from any of the three gates to have life giving properties for both men and women. They also believe that the release of ejaculate to be essential for the balance of Kan and Li (water and fire) between a man and woman.

When the man brings his woman to orgasm, he activates her energy and attunes himself with it. The release of ejaculate is the physical manifestation of a woman’s energy activation. Should a man drink the woman’s ejaculate he can benefit from its life giving properties. Taoists consider the activation of the woman’s energy and the man’s receipt of it to be a benefit to both partners.

In China between the end of the Han dynasty (220 CE) and the end of the Tang dynasty (907 CE), Taoist sexology and the sexual arts in general had enjoyed wide acceptance. During this era many Taoist texts on sexology and sacred sexuality were composed. However, after 1,000 CE Confucian puritanism became the dominant force and by the start of the Qing dynasty in 1636 CE sex was a taboo subject in public life. Due to the extensive censoring of sex during the Qing dynasty, the sexual arts disappeared from public life. Qing censorship of sex was so extensive that the few surviving Taoist texts on sexuality could only be found in Japan. The sex negative attitudes that currently prevail in China can trace these roots to centuries of Confucian puritanism.

Rhianna Blogs:

A lot of Mark’s readers have asked me how does it feel to be able to squirt, what makes the difference and why learn to do it at all? Why bother? Why ever not? It’s our birthright, it’s a part of ourselves, it’s an amazing part of our sexuality. For someone who just learned it, it actually is just plain cool. I love being able to do it. I love the feeling of bliss, of a release that runs through my body. I love how it makes my husband feel. Itmakes me feel more powerful, more myself; it feels good to own another part of my sexuality. To go really deep, and not to be afraid. Because this orgasm is deep.

Comparing to a usual clitoral orgasm it goes to a totally different level. I feel like I’m taking our intimacy, our connection to a new, deeper level. And I’m in control of it, I let it go when I want to, when I know I can go deeper, when I don’t cheat myself and go for an easy and quick release of a clitoral orgasm.

Do you notice how a clitoral orgasm lives you wanting more? It leaves me unsatisfied, wanting more, again and again. It makes me hungrier, and I need to come a few times in a row to feel satisfied. If I don’t I might feel sad or even angry, like it just was not enough, like something was missing. There is nothing missing after I squirt, I know I go as deep as it goes, I feel so blissful, I feel complete, I don’t usually want to cum again, although sometimes I do but it doesn’t come from a place of not getting enough, it comes from a desire to go even deeper. I still don’t squirt every time I have sex. Sometimes I’m not in the mood, sometimes it’s all about hard, raw sex, when we can’t get enough of each other. And I still don’t have a total control. Sometimes I feel like I’m about to squirt, but I don’t, and I’m not sure how to bring it on. Sometimes I’m just too tired and sleepy. But it’s all ok, it makes it even more special for me, because when I do cum, when I squirt, I feel complete.

Rhianna Blogs:

Backed by popular demand, several of Mark’s readers asked if I might write about how I learned how to squirt. I am flattered by your interest and I would love to share my experiences with everyone. I thought I would write a few pointers on what I found worked best for me. Hopefully you will find them useful too. So here they are:

Very important – find time and place where no one will disturb you. I most definitely suggest you first practice this on your own, exploring your body and figuring out what works for you. Once you have learnt it, you’ll be able to share it with your partner. You have to be perfectly relaxed and not worrying if someone is going to enter your room asking you what you were doing. Make sure you go to pee before your practice – this will remove the anxiety that you might pee instead of ejaculating. Let go of any expectations, don’t create the pressure to perform. Relax and have fun. Eventually it will happen.

Practice. Now the fun begins. Create a nice relaxing scene. Whatever works for you – dim the lights, light candles, turn on some nice music, make sure that it’s warm, so you can be comfortable naked. Get a couple of thick towels so you don’t need to worry about getting the bed wet. Think of something that will help you to get aroused. Think of your favorite fantasy, and start touching yourself. Do whatever works for you, lay down, sit comfortably or stand; touch your breasts, your legs, your vulva, your clit to get yourself in a highly aroused state. Now, when you are wet and ready start playing with your G-spot. If you usually play with it when you pleasure yourself then you know what to do. If not – experiment. Find out how much pressure you like, find out what kind of strokes – you are not in a hurry, take your time. Rub it, squeeze it, apply pressure on it. Use circular movement or move along it. You’ll notice that your G-spot will engorge and move a little to the outside of your vagina – that’s normal and it means that it’s working; you are on the way to ejaculation. Keep arousing yourself but not to the point of orgasm.

Try to ejaculate! Your arousal will become greater and greater, and when you continue stimulating your G-spot, you’ll start feeling the urge to pee. It’s actually the urge to ejaculate although when you are starting to practice it might feel like the urge to pee. Don’t worry; you are not going to pee. With your G-spot enlarged and swollen, your body wants a release – it wants to ejaculate! Don’t try to stop it. Most women contract, worrying that they might pee, but you need to relax into this sensation and continue stimulating the G-spot. Now this is the trick – you have to push out to ejaculate. If you are just starting practicing you’ll have to figure it out by trial and error. Make sure your G-spot is really engorged, take out your finger or the sex toy you were using and try to push like you were trying to pee. If nothing happens, continue again. Build up your arousal, play some more with the G-spot and try again. And again. Sometimes it helps to have a clitoral orgasm first and then continue to stimulate yourself and try to push out your ejaculate. If you familiar with G-spot orgasms try to bring yourself just to a point of having one and then try to push. Don’t wait until you are in a full blown orgasm, it might be too late. But keep practicing. It will come and it will get easier and easier. You will know your timing better.

Keep practicing. You might ejaculate on your first try – congratulations! You might not. With enough practice you will. At first it might be without an orgasm, it might feel forced and it also might be quite a small amount of liquid. Whatever happens – it’s great, it’s your first step. With more practice it will feel less forced, you’ll know your timing instinctively, you’ll push when the time is right and eventually you’ll be able to experience an orgasm along with ejaculation. You might first have only clitoral orgasm while ejaculating, if you continue stimulating your clit while pushing out the ejaculate. Keep practicing – spend less time and energy playing with your clit and more with your G-spot. Keep stimulating the G-spot and bring yourself to the verge of a clitoral orgasm, then slow down and cool off a bit, continue rubbing and applying pressure to the G-spot bring yourself to another verge, and cool down again – at some point you’ll be so excited you’ll feel the G-spot orgasm coming and with it will come the ejaculate. Push and feel the orgasm go through your body. The liquid will flow freely and you might find that you can ejaculate again and again in one session.

What’s next? Now when you get a pretty good idea how to ejaculate – it’s time to go and play with your partner. He (or she) will be very pleasantly surprised! Let them know how to stimulate you in the right way, feel your arousal building and when the time is right – push it out. Most women need the men to pull out his penis before they can ejaculate. Experiment with it. Try it – you’ll soon know what works for you and what doesn’t. Don’t forget to put a towel on the bed and let go of any expectations. Relax. If it happens – great, if not – it’s not a big deal, it will happen soon.

Do write me about your practice and experiences with squirting. If you have any questions please send them my way, I would love to answer them. I look forward to reading your comments.

Rhianna reached a new milestone in her quest to squirt. Last night Rhianna unleashed her newfound squirting abilities on me and it was absolutely amazing! Up till now Rhianna has been practicing and perfecting her squirting technique on her own. Squirting was something very new and powerful for her and I wanted to give her the space she needed to learn how it all works. I figured when Rhianna was ready and confident about her abilities I will be getting a very wet surprise. Well that wet surprise came last night!

During our very intense session of lovemaking last night Rhianna unleashed her very first squirting orgasm on me. It was a very erotic and sensual experience and I was thrilled to be first recipient of her amrita. Last week I wrote about Rhianna’s next quest was to learn how to squirt with an orgasm. Over the weekend she was practicing this skill and last night she put it all together.

During some moments of heightened sexual arousal (after multiple clitoral, vaginal and full body orgasms) Rhianna made the impulse decision (she just felt it was the right moment) and started to finger her g-spot intensely. A few moments later I could feel her ejaculate flowing out of her as she experienced a very intense orgasm. It was fucking awesome! Rhianna squirted lots since I and the bed were soaking wet….mmmmmmhmmmmm! It was an incredibly erotic experience for the both of us.

I believe squirting to be a very special and wonderful ability for any woman to have. Unfortunately, not many women know about squirting and fewer still can actually squirt. I consider myself very fortunate and blessed to be married to a woman who can squirt. Like most women, Rhianna knew nothing about squirting. But when she first encountered it she was intrigued enough by it to want to learn how do it. Rhianna set an intention to learn how to squirt and now she can do it! Brilliant! Rhianna has now reclaimed a birthright that belongs to every woman.

Happy New Year! I trust everyone had a wonderful holiday and is raring to take on the new decade. Not too long ago I wrote about the success we had achieved in getting our non sleeping baby to finally sleep through the night. The last couple of months of rest and recovery have been doing wonders. Rhianna has once again taken up quest to practice and perfect her ability to ejaculate.

If you recall, I wrote here about Rhianna’s first reaction to encountering female ejaculation. Like many women, she was fascinated by it but had absolutely no clue how it was done. Once we had tried swinging and Rhianna had seen another women squirt with her own eyes she wanted to learn how to do for herself. However, seeing another woman squirt is one thing but learning how to do it is entirely a different matter.

Trying to find some good books and videos on learning how to squirt was not so easy. Some books will describe female ejaculation but provide only the vague details on how it is done. We had purchased Caroline and Charles Muir’s Secrets of Female Sexual Ecstasy DVD to see if they might be able to provide some insights into learning how to squirt. While this video is a great introduction to anyone wanting to learn about female ejaculation, Rhianna just could not get enough practical information from the DVD that could be useful.

After a lot of searching and trying other books and DVD`s we had found something that really worked. Deborah Sundhal`s book Female Ejaculation and the G-Spot: Not Your Mother’s Orgasm Book! was a real winner. Sundhal’s book is very informative and easy to follow. Her book describes in detail the three types of female orgasm. There is also a section on the history of female ejaculation that really helps reinforce the notion that female ejaculation has been around for a really long time. The book also describes how to ejaculate with or without an orgasm. After followoing Sundahl’s easy to follow instructions, Rhianna was able to ejaculate after the first try. This happened during the Fall of 2008 and was a great success for her. Unfortunately, life got real busy and hectic and Rhianna had to put her practice sessions to the side for a while.

With things settling down again in the last couple of months Rhianna has been able to resume her practicing. Rhianna’s squirting skills have been progressing nicely. She became very comfortable squirting without an orgasm and can do it fairly easily now. She has been building up her confidence in her abilities and the other night Rhianna was able to squirt three times in a row! Yum Yum Yum! Rhianna has told me that squirting without an orgasm is a wonderful experience in of itself but squirting with an orgasm is a bit more challenging for her. She wants to be completely comfortable with squirting without an orgasm before moving onto squirting with an orgasm.

Sundhal also has a DVD – Female Ejaculation Workshop which can be found on the Amazon.com website. We had downloaded it and Rhianna had found it very useful in helping her learn the technique. We would recommend Sundhal`s book and DVD to anyone wishing to learn how to female ejaculate. Sundhal`s book is a good read and her instructions are easy to follow.

As Rhianna progresses through her female ejaculation practicing I will provide some updates. Her progress is remarkable and she is getting better and better every day.

Check here for the next update on Rhianna’s Progress!

In Japan between the 16th and 18th centuries, female ejaculation was portrayed in the erotic art form called shunga. In Japanese, the word shunga means picture of spring which is a common euphemism for sex. The shunga celebrated erotic and sensual pleasures using woodblocks to produce colourful prints and pictures. The shunga artists were not afraid to show any part of the human anatomy in the most explicit detail.

The shunga artists also portrayed a wide range of subjects such as heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, young and old individuals as well as numerous sexual fetishes and fantasies. However, their works were always made with the utmost care combining eroticism with artistic sensibilities. Shunga erotic art was enjoyed by a wide cross section of Japanese society; rich or poor, male or female all enjoyed the shunga.

Of particular interest to us is the fact that the shunga clearly demonstrated that female ejaculation was not only an accepted part of Japanese culture, it was celebrated and even thought of to be an aphrodisiac. Furthermore, the Japanese believed that female ejaculate had health and life rejuvenating properties, and as such they encouraged it to be drunk to help reverse the aging process.

To assist with the capture of a woman’s ejaculate, the Japanese developed ejaculation bowls (see the picture below) to catch a woman’s ejaculate as it flowed freely from her vagina. She would masturbate using a special device called a harikata, which was a bowl with a dildo attached to it. The user of the harikata would arouse herself with the dildo until orgasm and then use the basin to capture her ejaculate.

Welcome back, this is the third post of the Female Ejaculation series where I will be exploring Female Ejaculation in the Islamic world. When we think of the Islamic world over the past 40 years, thoughts of anything sensual or erotic are usually the last thing that comes to mind. Their decent into religious fundamentalism and extremism has pretty much made anything Islamic about as sexy as a bag of hammers. However, if we were to set aside all those severe looking Imams and the chanting would-be suicide bombers for a moment, we would discover that the Islamic world has a highly erotic and sensual past. The sensual Middle Eastern belly dancers are a prime example of the eroticism that I am referring to. Furthermore, if you have had the opportunity to meet any Middle Eastern women who have not had their femininity suppressed by some austere form of Islamic extremism, you would find they can be exceedingly sensual and erotic.

During their golden age of culture and thought, the Islamic world was known for its tolerance and intellectual curiosity (650-1150 AD). This tolerance was extended to the realm of sexuality where Islamic civilization had a much more open attitude towards sex than their European contemporaries. While, Christian Europe languished in the Dark Ages by proscribing sin to every sexual act; Islam laid down a reasonably easy to understand list of permissible (halal) and forbidden (Haram) sexual activities. The list of sexual activities permissible under Islam is considerable and is laid out as thus:

Halal

Vaginal Sex

Contraception (may only be used for family planning purposes)

Foreplay

Oral Sex

Breast Play – Sucking and caressing the wife`s breasts.

Orgasms

Abortion – permissible up to 3-4 months after conception

Male Ejaculation

Female Ejaculation

Haram

Adultery

Pre-marital sex – though a higher a premium is placed upon a girls virginity as opposed to a man`s

Lesbianism – not explicitly forbidden in the Quran, but significant social taboos exist against it

Homosexuality – absolutely forbidden

Anal Sex – Similar to Homosexuality, any acts of sodomy forbidden

Masturbation – The Quran does not explicitly forbid masturbation, yet most traditions of Islamic jurisprudence strongly discourage it.

Sex during fasting or Ramadan

Prostitution

Sex during menstruation

While Islamic jurisprudence shared a widespread disdain with Christianity for any acts of sodomy and sex outside of marriage; Islam was far more permissible with sexual expression within marriage. As hard as that is to believe nowadays, the Islamic world was a far more sexually open society than the Christian West for more than a thousand years.

You will probably have noticed that Female Ejaculation is included on the list of Halal sexual activities. Islamic jurisprudence is remarkably thorough in attributing the source of its judicial interpretation of its various laws. This is especially true of Islamic views on female ejaculation. In Islam, it is believed that during orgasm, a woman ejaculates sperm, just like a man does. Furthermore, a few Hadith (oral traditions relating to the thoughts and actions of Muhammad) suggested that women discharges sperm during her sexual dreams in the same manner that a man does when he has a nocturnal emission. The following Hadith describes the process:

When a woman ejaculates sperm, she should take a bath

—Sunaan Nasai (1:198-199)

If a woman has a nocturnal discharge, she should take a bath

—Sunaan Nasai ( 1:197)

When a woman has wet dreams, she should take a bath

—Sunaan Nasai (1:200)

Women has discharges during wet dreams, that is why the son resembles the mother

—Salih Bukhari (1.3:132)

The Islamic views on female ejaculation mirror that of the ancient Greeks and Romans believing that both male and female semen were required for the creation of life. The Islamic faith clearly understood that female ejaculation was a biological fact and incorporated it as such into Islamic jurisprudence. Furthermore, this view of female ejaculation still holds credence today within Islamic jurisprudence as well as the wider Islamic world.

Thanks for dropping by for the third post of the Female Ejaculation series where I will be exploring Female Ejaculation in the ancient Hindu world.

In Sanskrit, Amrita literally means “Nectar of the Goddess”. Amrita is a sacred liquid honoured by the ancient Hindu texts of Tantric literature. Tantric literature describes Amrita as a divine liquid with life giving properties that could be obtained by drinking it. Tantra is a spiritual tradition that flourished in India more than 1,000 years ago. Tantric devotees believed that spiritual enlightenment can be obtained through the use of spiritual ceremonies and sacred rituals that enhance sexual energy. These rituals enable one to reach an altered state of ecstasy through extended orgasm.

Across India, there are many beautiful Tantric temples, dedicated to the worship of sacred sexual energy. These temples are adorned with numerous statues and wall reliefs depicting individuals, couples and groups involved in extremely complex and erotic sex scenes. Some of the wall reliefs portrayed women with Amrita freely flowing from their vaginas.

While, Tantra may be extremely old, it is certainly not a relic of history books. Tantra is a flourishing spiritual practice with many devotees currently practicing its sacred rituals throughout India and the West. Since its recent introduction into the West, Tantra has been gaining in popularity with books, DVDs, courses and seminars becoming widely available. If you were to glance through any of the modern Tantric literature, you would find that its teachings on Female Ejaculation and Amrita would be prominently featured.

Caroline and Charles Muir, the foremost Western teachers of the Tantric practice, have been very successful in promoting Tantra throughout the West. They were the first to develop a DVD that revealed some the secret teachings of Tantra. Secrets of Female Sexual Ecstasy cover many advanced Tantric techniques including female ejaculation and the release of amrita. This DVD provides viewers with effective methods for women and couples to master Tantra’s more difficult to learn practices. For those of you who are seeking some authentic and believable information on female ejaculation, this DVD provides an explicit, yet tasteful introduction to the topic without being pornographic. I have watched this DVD together with Goddess Rhianna, (for those who have not read my About page, she is my lovely wife) and we would readily agree this is a worthwhile DVD to watch for anyone wishing to learn about Female Ejaculation. However, if you have had some real life experience with female ejaculation or you are already know how to squirt, this DVD will probably not provide you with too many new insights on the topic.

India also gave us the Kama Sutra, which is an ancient Hindu text that is widely thought to be an outstanding work on the art of love making. The Kama Sutra, written by the yogic sage Vatsyayana, in around the 2nd century AD. The Kama Sutra consists of prose and poetry, which provided practical advice on sex and love making. If we were to delve deeper into the original text, we would find that the Kama Sutra gave detailed descriptions of female ejaculate:

The semen (female ejaculate) of women continues to fall from the beginning of the sexual union to its end, and it is right that it should be so, for if they had no semen there would be no embryo……….The fall of the semen of the man takes place only at the end of coition, while the semen of the woman falls continually, and after the semen of both has all fallen away then they wish for the discontinuance of coition.

Vatsyayana’s views on female ejaculation mirror that of the contemporary Greco-Roman civilization (Galen and Hippocrates), that both male and female semen were required for the creation of life.

The reading of these ancient Hindu texts makes it quite clear that knowledge and understanding of female ejaculation was widespread throughout India. The Hindus not only considered female ejaculation a biological fact, but they also believed that Amrita had sacred life giving properties that enhanced vitality and sexual energy.

Thanks for dropping by, this is the second post of the Female Ejaculation series where I will be exploring squirting in the ancient Greco-Roman world.

In modern times, there has been considerable debate about the existence of female ejaculation. It was only in the last 10 or 20 years, that Western medical opinion grudgingly accepted the existence of female ejaculation. Before that, Western medicine believed there was no such thing. Doctors and medical professionals used to believe that women who expelled fluids from her urethra during orgasm were, in fact, experiencing urinary incontinence. Even the radical lesbian feminists, Sheila Jeffreys, colluded with the culture of denial by arguing female ejaculation was created for male sexual fantasies:

There are examples in the sexological literature of men’s sexual fantasies about lesbian sexuality. Krafft-Ebing invented a form of ejaculation for women.

With its unfortunate and lamentable state, female ejaculation was considered an embarrassing and shameful problem that required medical attention should anyone experience it.

Thanks to the research of Josephine Lowndes Sevely, JW Bennett and Beverly Whipple that appeared in 1978, we now know that female ejaculation is real and should not have been mistaken with urinary incontinence. During their research into urinary incontinence, they discovered that several ancient societies not only accepted female ejaculation but were exceedingly knowledgeable about it. As Sevely pointed out in her book, Eve’s Secret, knowledge about female ejaculation was “not new knowledge, but a rediscovery of lost awareness that should contribute towards reshaping our view of female sexuality”.

While, the modern world had been in a long state of denial about the reality of female ejaculation, many ancient societies had no such issues. For Greco-Roman world, there was no debate about the existence of female ejaculation; they considered it an indisputable fact of life. Moreover, the scientific properties of female ejaculate were discussed by the greatest minds of the ancient world. Let’s explore about that for a while.

Hippocrates (460-370 BC), Aristotle (384-322 BC) and Galen (129-200 AD) explored the nature of female ejaculation. They wrote and debated whether female ejaculate had any reproductive properties. There was a strong belief in the Greco-Roman world that the mixing of male semen and female ejaculate was necessary for the creation of new life. The Romans called these fluids liquor vitae, the essence of life itself.

Hippocrates, the father of medicine, proposed the two seed theory believing that the female ejaculate must mix with the male ejaculate to create new life. Galen supported the two seed theory by making a distinction between reproductive and pleasurable female fluids, with the latter originating from a female prostrate. Galen describes the female ejaculate as:

The fluid in her prostate…..it is poured outside when it has done its service…This liquid not only stimulates…the sexual act but also is able to give pleasure and moisten the passageway as it escapes. It manifestly flows from women as they experience the greatest pleasure in coitus, when it is perceptibly shed upon the male pudendum; indeed, such an outflow seems to give a certain pleasure even to eunuchs.

Aristotle, on the other hand, rejected the two seed theory arguing that female ejaculation was only for the woman’s pleasure:

Some think that the female contributes semen in coition because the pleasure she experiences is sometimes similar to that of the male, and also is attended by a liquid discharge. But this discharge is not seminal…The amount of this discharge when it occurs, is sometimes on a different scale from the emission of semen and far exceeds it. Moreover, different kinds of food cause a great difference in the quantity of such discharges.

Hippocrates, Aristotle and Galen were the philosophical giants of the Greco-Roman world. Their writing forms the basis of Western thought and scientific knowledge. Many of their scientific findings are still valid today. While, these influential writers differed on the purpose of female ejaculation, they had no doubt about its existence.

In the next post in this series I will be exploring Amrita, the Nectar of the Goddess.

Female ejaculation, colloquially known as “gushing” or “squirting”, is that enigmatic phenomenon involving the expulsion of copious amounts of clear liquid from a women’s urethra during orgasm. Despite, its seemingly popular appeal, female ejaculation is poorly understood. The most likely place where anyone will encounter female ejaculation is through the watching of squirting porn videos. While, the portrayal of female ejaculation in porn may leave the viewer breathless, they will probably have doubts about its authenticity. After all, how much of what is portrayed in porn do people believe?

There is very little reliable information that can be found on the topic of female ejaculation. Because of this, most people are still utterly mystified about what female ejaculation is or why it happens. This lack of understanding contributes to the popular notion that women who squirt are freaks of nature.

Despite its notoriety, female ejaculation is REAL and is not a creation of the porn industry. Why do I believe this? Seeing is believing! I have seen women ejaculate. I have had women gush on me with their ejaculate, and I have tasted it. Despite what many believe, female ejaculate is not urine; it is a clear liquid unique unto itself. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that squirting is real and genuine. Female ejaculation is, in fact, very old and was once commonplace. Written records of it can be found all through recorded history. From the civilizations of ancient Greece and Rome to Japan and Imperial China, female ejaculation formed an integral part of human sexuality. It is only in modern times that we seem to have lost this pleasurable part of our sexual heritage.

Recognition of female ejaculation by the Western medical establishment did not come easy. It was only in the last 10 years did Western science grudgingly accept that female ejaculation was not a golden shower. Female ejaculation is part of every woman’s birthright. While, it might seem elusive and mysterious, every woman is physiologically capable of squirting. If you would wish to learn more about this extraordinary part of sex, please read on. I will be doing a series of posts on female ejaculation. The following is a summary of the gushing topics I will be covering:
