You seem to think that anal sex in only useful for contraception. While it certainly can serve that purpose; most people (gay and heterosexual) enjoy anal sex because it is pleasurable. And wherever did you get the notion that anal sex is not pleasurable for women? Lots of women will testify to the numerous pleasurable orgasms they get from anal sex. Some women will even prefer anal sex over vaginal sex. These women are not faking it either! My women I know will testify to that fact.

Your suggestion that gay who fuck other gay men lack the social or emotional skills is completely absurd and ridiculous. Your generalizations about gay men have no real basis in fact and are naive at best. Go and try meeting a few gay men and you will find they are as socially sophisticated and adept (and more so for some) as any heterosexual person. You may try to simplify gay sex as just penetration and ejaculation. But to many gay people they will argue that their sex is just as deep and emotionally connecting as any heterosexual sex.

Obviously, the sin of the Sodomites and the Gomorrranation of the Gomorranians were, as you say, the sins of inhospitability to the Angel who arrived, presumably to test them. But might the deliberate practice of anal sex not be an aspect of Flawed Humanity, except where it was an excellent, if somewhat messy, contraceptive device ? In other words, someone put ANAL into Bacchanal, and thus introduced anal gang-bangs (blood, shit and torn rectums) – surely not something to be celebrated ?

The real sin of Mr Philo is to stigmatise anal sex outright, rather than to comment on its efficacy as a suitable form of contraception: pleasure for men, no pleasure for women (who do not have prostates to be massaged pleasurably) – but not yet another agony of childbirth, hence the relative pleasure of no pain.

The World Health Organisation should, of course, be promoting sodomy as the cheapest form of birth control. For it is not so much coal-fired power-stations and the internal combustion engine which is killing the world, as the sheer exponential growth of a terrible species, Nature’s hubris. Our brains have a problem with exponentials, we simply cannot grasp the implications. This is an essential lflaw in our oversized brains.

A non-heterosexual, I personally have problems with the whole anal penetration ‘thing’.
